If I actually I had to shop for groceries here, there's no way it could hold onto all five stars. It can cover basic necessities (eggs, bread, milk, fruit...) and some random other stuff for the kitchen, but it's not made for the job. Luckily, however, I pretty much just come here for beer, and the occasional wine and ice, and the 5 stars are still an any easy win where those are concerned. From 6-packs to 30-packs to 40s, from Bud or Yuengling or other beer pong cup-fillers to Heavy Seas or Flying Dog or Anchor or something I haven't even heard of before (what the hell is Porkslap??), this place fulfills all my beer-lovin' needs. Plus, there's something about the fact that the conveyor belt at check-out hasn't run in years and is just another shelf for displaying asian candy, that warms my heart every time.

Really enjoy this place. Small homey feel to it. Has a great beer and wine selection. Also has a few essential supermarket items if you needed something for convenience sakes. Taking two stars off though for a couple reasons. One is that the ATM machine in the 4 years I've lived in the four corners area has never worked and always had an outbid order sign on it but every time I need an ATM I stupidly go here first and am fooled again. Please just get it fixed already! The other reason is that the parking situation at this shopping center is a mess.

We were next door getting delicious pastries from the bakery next door ( yelp.com/biz/woodmoor-pa… ) when my husband decides that he *must* have milk to go with his baked goods. We came over and was able to find 40000 different kinds of beers, sodas of every type...and no milk. HAHA! Finally after asking around, we were able to find the milk fridge, which was in the back, and had 5 lone cartons of milk, looking embarassed and apologetic for not being something more alcholic. Awesome! But we got our milk...so win?

First things first, I haven't shopped here for food, I have only shopped here for beer and wine. That being said, this grocery store has one of the best selections of beer in Silver Spring. There is Quench up New Hampshire Ave, but for around the beltway, this place can't be beat. They have a great selection of craft beers, including lots of the more rare options from more local breweries like Flying Dog and Delaware's Dogfish Head. I've been able to get Barrel Aged Gonzo Porter and 120 Minute IPA's from here when dedicated beer and wine stores have been sold out. My wife is a big fan of the wine selection, and they have one of the few wines that I know I love, Layer Cakes Malbec. She can always find a new wine to try and hasn't been disappointed by any of her choices. So if you're looking for a great beer and wine selection, this place should be on your list.

Friendly Staff, Great selection of beers and wine, this is where you go. Sure you will pay a few more bucks, So what! you would spend that in Gas. An since I live close, this has been a staple for years. MiC g has said it best.

I love this neighborhood grocery store. I don't go for their produce or dry goods however but for their extensive beer and wine selection. Case in point, they have both Magic Hat Lucky Cat and Flying Dog Doggie Style pale ale in their fridges. Stopped by this morning for two six packs and got a sort of quizzical look from the nice Korean lady at the register. Yes, this nice Asian girl is procuring beer before lunchtime. I'm going to drink it too.

There is also a large wine selection ranging from Chilean Merlot, French Bordeaux, Australian Chardonnays, Portugese Port Wines, to Japanese Plum Wine. Not to mention the fresh vegetable section, along with the aisles of canned dog food, cheese puffs, pretzels, paper plates, boxed cereal, loaves of bread, and bottles of ketchup.
